Mr. Thomas Studders, 50, of Avoca, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Celtic Hospice, Wilkes-Barre.
He was born in Pittston, son of the late Thomas and Rosemary Swanek Studders. He was a graduate of Pittston Area High School. He was formerly employed by the Chamberlain Corp., Scranton.
He enjoyed football, hockey, fishing and race cars.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Brenda Roberts.

Brother, Michael Studders of Pittston
Nieces, Samantha and Alicia Studders
Aunt, Judy Wroblewski
Numerous cousins
Step-daughters, Cindy, Jennifer and Holly
Step grandchildren
The family would like to thank the nurses and nursing staff of Celtic Hospice for the care and compassion that was shown to Thomas.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea. Interment Services will be held at 11:30 am in St. Mary's Cemetery, Avoca by the Rev. Phillip J. Sladicka.
