Mr. Stephen J. Saneski, of Duryea, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.
Born in Taylor, he was the son of the late Stanley and Anna Sokolowski Saneski. He was a graduate of Duryea High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Proctor and Gamble.
Stephen was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 10:00 am from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea with Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. A viewing will be held on Friday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home. The Greater Pittston AMVETS will conduct military services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Keystone Warriors, P.O. Box 307, Shoemakersville, PA 19555.
