Mr. Stephen G. Martin, 67, of Covington Twp., passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014, at the VNA Hospice Unit at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born in Duryea, he was the son of the late George and Anna Danko Martin. He was a graduate of Northeast High School, Class of 1965. He served in the United States Coast Guard during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a truck driver.

He was proceeded in death by a sister, Sister Georgeann Martin, SSCM.

He and his wife, the former Jeanette Menze, celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this past July 19th.

Daughter, Karen Simyan and her husband, John, of Covington Twp.
Daughter, Renee Martin of Roswell, New Mexico
Son, Brian Dierks and his wife, Sheila, of Stienville
Son, Eric Dierks and his wife, Barbara, of Forest City
Son, Steven Dierks of Covington, Twp.

Brother, George Martin and his wife, Eileen, of Avoca
