Mrs. Sabina M. Wishneski, 92, formerly of Greentown, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania, Scranton.

Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late John and Veronica Novak Zabrowski. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Howmet, Dover, New Jersey from 1957 to 1985.

Sabina was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea. She enjoyed baking and taking care of her house and yard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor J. Wishneski, who passed away on November 1, 2014, and one brother, John Zabrowski.

Surviving are:
Son, Robert Wishneski and his wife, Peggy, of Flagler Beach, Florida
Granddaughter, Valerie
Sister, Dolores Zabrowski of Scranton
Sister, Margaret Domuracki and her husband, Frank, of Pittsford, New York
One niece and one nephew

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 10:00 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea with the Rev. Michael Bryant officiating.  Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea.  There will be no viewing. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea.
