Mrs. Rose Marie (Abent) Dziewit, 60, of Pittston, transitioned from the loving arms of her faith into God's eternal embrace at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre on November 27, 2017.

Rose was born in Pittston on January 1, 1957 to the late Frank and Jean (Gromelski) Abent. She was a graduate of Pittston Area High School and was previously employed by TRL, Suscon.

She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Raymond Dziewit and her loving cat, Tikki.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Raymond Dziewit of Pittston
Brother, Frank Abent and his wife, Debra, of Clark Summit
Sister, Phyllis Nawrocki and her husband, Leonard, of Duryea
Niece, Kimberly Patton and her husband, Rich, of Plains
Niece, Kristen Nawrocki of Duryea
Nephew, Frank Abent Jr. of Plymouth
Niece, Melissa Galanakis and her husband, Steve, of Clark Summit
Great nephews, Yanni and Ari Galanakis of Clark Summit
Her loving cat, Jazzy

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 9:30 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea. Interment will be private. Arrangements are by the Bernard J.
