Mrs. Romaine A. Ambrozaitis, 96, of Jenkins Township, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late Bennett and Mary Zikoski Selskis and was graduate of Duryea High School. She was employed by Lee Mfg, Pittston for 45 years and then up until the age of 93 she worked for Benton Sewing, Benton.

She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church. Romaine was a generous and loving mom, grandma and great grandma.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Joseph Ambrozaitis, who passed away on January 22, 1964, twin daughters, Mary and Ann, brothers, Richard, Robert and Daniel, sisters, Alice Ezdebsky and Maree Alexy and son in law, Vincent Rotondaro, who passed away on June 8, 2023.

Surviving are:
Daughter, Karen Rotondaro of Mechanicsburg
Daughter, Lisa Golubiewski and her husband, Bernard, of Duryea
Grandson, Vincent Rotondaro Jr. and his wife, Carla
Great grandchildren, Vincent III and Nico
Nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 11:00 am in St. Maria Goretti Church, 42 Redwood Drive, Wilkes-Barre with the Rev. Alex Roche officiating. The Parish Rosary Group will pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary in the church 30 minutes before the Mass.  All are invited to attend. Interment will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Pittston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 East Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702. Arrangements are by the Bernard J.
