Robert Nowakowski, 59, of Selinsgrove, formerly of Pittston, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Pittston, he was the son of Barbara Gramacke Nowakowski of Pittston and the late Edward Nowakowski, who passed away on December 26, 2016.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish, Pittston.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by cousins.

Barbara would like to thank the White Haven Center and Selinsgrove Center for the care that was given to Robert throughout his life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish, 535 North Main Street, Pittston. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. There will be no viewing. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea.
