Mr. Robert D. Piorkowski Sr., 66, of Duryea, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016, at his home.

Born in Duryea, he was the son of Helen Lesczynski Piorkowski of Duryea and the late Leonard Piorkowski. He was a graduate of Pittston Area High School. He was formerly employed by the former Topps Chewing Gum Co., Duryea and retired from the Luzerne County Court House, Wilkes-Barre.

He was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

He was a social member of the V.F.W. Post 1227, Duryea. He enjoyed going to car shows with his best friend, Joe.

Son, Robert Piorkowski Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of Kingston
Son, Leonard Piorkowski of Pittston
Brother, Michael Piorkowski and his wife, Susann, of Archbald
Two nieces: Stephanie and Samantha

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at 11:00 am in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. There will be no viewing.
