Mr. Robert D. (Harvey) Wall Sr., 59, of Wyoming, formerly of Duryea, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at his home.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of Betty (Aston) and Kenneth Shotwell of Duryea. He was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, Class of 1976. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Penske Truck Leasing, Jessup.

He was a member of the Brick United Methodist Church, Duryea.

He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed hunting and being a mechanic. He was a former member of Excelsior Hose Company, Duryea for 23 years and a former member of Goodwill Hose Company, West Pittston.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Shotwell.

Son, Robert Wall Jr. and his wife, Chanda, of Converse, Texas
Son, Patrick Wall of Harding
Son, Michael Wall and his wife, Lisa, of Duryea
Step-daughter, Amy Richards of Kingston
Step-son, Evan Wood of Kingston
11 grandchildren

Sister, Robin Pesotini and her husband, Dennis, of East Stroudsburg
Sister, Donna Wall Meade of Avoca
Brother, Kenneth Shotwell Jr., and his wife, Lisa, of Duryea
Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Brick United Methodist Church, 935 Foote Ave., Duryea with the Rev. Sharon Dietz officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Germania Hose Company, 430 Foote Ave., Duryea. Interment will be private. The family asks that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions may be made to Patrick Wall c/o the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea for a memorial dedication in his memory to the Cancer Survival Park. Arrangements are by the Bernard J.
