It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas Kurt Rosenbaum, 35, of Swoyersville, who passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Nick was a loving father, devoted fiancé, son, brother, family member, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unforgettable personality touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to tease the people he loved or stir the pot just enough to get a reaction. Making people laugh, and occasionally making them a little mad, was simply part of who he was. Beneath that playful spirit was a loyal and caring man who would do anything for those he loved.

Nick felt most at home outdoors. Whether he was fishing, camping, riding, sitting around a bonfire, or simply enjoying nature, he was happiest when he was outside surrounded by family and friends.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his beloved daughter, Makalya; his fiancée, Felicia; his mother, Monica (Martin) Domanico and her husband, Michael, sister, Kimberly Rosado; half-sisters, Samantha Grabis, Candice Seifert, Tiffany Reinhart, Madison Domanico, Nichole Monitzer and Anna Mae Olivio; stepsisters, Lisa Vardakas and Suzanne Bruno; and many other relatives, friends, and loved ones. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made on the lives of those around him will never be forgotten.

Nick will be remembered for his infectious smile, his stubborn streak, his playful jokes, and the countless memories he created with those lucky enough to know him. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his laughter, love, and adventurous spirit will live on in the stories we share and the lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Kurt Rosenbaum, who passed away on August 4, 2012.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Nick's life will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Frances Slocum State Park, Wyoming, with a ceremony beginning at 5:00 pm. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Nick are welcome to attend, pay their respects, and celebrate his life. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. When I heard the news of Nick's accident, I just could not believe that he had died from it. I got to be friends with him while he and I were working at Sabatelle's. He always liked to sneak up behind me and scare me. When I saw that it was him, he would laugh n smile, so in turn I would always tell him that his car is dirty. Like all who knew Nick how he hated a dirty car. He would always ask if he could make me a sandwich for my lunch. When became close friends after I learned of his favorite hobbies. He liked to go into the deep woods at night in search of Sasquatch. Nick will never be forgotten by all who knew him. His infectious smile and laugh were his trademark. I hope we will meet again in the hereafter to continue our interesting conversations. May your soul forever rest in peace. My deepest sympathy.
