Dear Al, Linda, Sara and Charlotte, Our beloved Aunt Monica was one of the sweetest, most genuine and loving people I have ever met. Some of my earliest memories in life are of our frequent visits to Duryea to visit Uncle Al, Aunt Monica and Alfred. While she cooked her heart out in the kitchen clad in a cute apron, we kids played Trouble for hours. Never did she get agitated by the constant clicking of that game or noise from the kids. Later in life, cards from her and Uncle Al and our beloved Aunt Anna too would make my day. Weddings, graduations, clamming on the boatin Florida and a visit in Southern California--I will remember Aunt Monica's loving, smiling presence forever. My heart and thoughts are with you across the miles at Christmas. Aunt Monica's love for her family was paramount and you should take comfort in knowing how much she cared for you and benefited from your loving care during the final years of her life. I will miss her forever! Love, Your cousin, Lisa

Our sympathies to you, cousin Al, and to your wife, Linda, for taking such good care of your Mother for the last five (5) years. Marion and I have never heard her say a bad word against ANYONE over the sixtyone (61) years that we kinew her. We had SO MANY wonderful get-to-gethers over our 56+ years of our marriage, beginning back when MY Mother and Father, Bill & Madelon Getson were still with us. She was definitely "one-of-a-kind".. We will always treasure her memory.Love, your Cousin Bill Getson and wife, Marion.
