Visited modern gas today and was looking forward to chatting it up with Mr Mikey. When I pulled in and he wasn't on the dock. I was disappointed. Then I exited my vehicle and saw his obituary and my heart sank. Rest in Peace Mikey. You will be missed. Always in our hearts and prayers. Linda Lisa and Deven

I visited Modern today, and learned of his passing. I was blessed with getting to know Mike. Every time I would come into Modern, or even if we ran into each other outside of work, we would always spend time talking. I'm still in shock, and saddened deeply. Rest in Peace Mike, you deserve it!

I can't imagine visiting Modern Gas and not seeing Mike at the dock! Mike was always the first one to greet me and the last one to say good bye. Mike was always concerned about everyone else and always asked how I was doing too. Mike was a very caring man, that weathered the elements every day to take care of his customers and co-workers. God bless you Mike, you will be sorely missed!

Mike was always friendly and would go above and beyond when just getting my grill’s propane tanks filled. That’s not the only place / way I remember Mike though. Our paths would cross from time to time when we were younger and again, although less frequent as adults. Mike was always a pleasure to speak with. Always smiling and he truly cared when he asked how someone was. Mine and my families condolences to Mike’s entire family and friends.
