Mary Teresa Prandy

Mrs. Mary Teresa Prandy, 66, of Duryea, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Lillian Baker Puscavage and attended St. Ann's Academy and was a graduate of Bishop Hoban High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a medical assistant for various doctors throughout the area.

Mary Teresa was a member of Our Lady of the Eucharist, Pittston. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family, baking and cooking many dishes from her recipe binder. She was also an avid animal lover.

She and her husband, Bruce, celebrated their 42nd Wedding Anniversary this past October 27th.

Surviving in addition to her husband are:
Daughter, Sarah Prandy of Milford
Sister, Irene Kovaleski and her husband, John, of Exeter
Nieces, nephews and cousins
Faithful and loving companion, Dante

The family would like to send their sincere thanks to Dr. Charles Manganiello and Dr. Kevin Musto for their care of Teresa.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 10:00 am in Our Lady of the Eucharist, 535 North Main Street, Pittston with the Rev. Paul McDonnell officiating. Interment will be in Roberts Cemetery, Falls. A viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the church. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea.
