Mrs. Mary Rose Miller, 85, of Duryea, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 in Celtic Hospice at Geisinger South, Wilkes Barre.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Mary Casper Policare. She attended Pittston High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the former Lee Mfg., Pittston for 40 years.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Willard Miller, who passed away on March 23, 1994, niece, Mary Kay Darlington and brothers, James and Dominick Policare.

Sister, Catherine Ardoline of Duryea
Nephew, Charles Ardoline and his wife, Rose Mary, of Ransom
Great Nephew, Charles Ardoline III of Ransom
Great Nephew, David Charles Darlington of Pittston

Funeral services and interment were held Monday, December 2, 2013 in Marcy Cemetery, Duryea. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea.
