Mrs. Mary Lou Geadrities, 83, of Rutherford, New Jersey, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018, at her home.
Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Anna Slucinsky Salitis. She was a graduate of Duryea High School and Lackawanna Business College. Prior to her retirement, Mary Lou was employed by General Wall Coverings and MCS Cannon, both of Rutherford, New Jersey.
Mary Lou was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rutherford, New Jersey. She was a very active member of the Kip Center, the Golden Agers and participated in the Senior Olympics through the Rutherford Rec, all of Rutherford, New Jersey.
Mary Lou was a loving mother and grandmother, enjoyed spending time with her cats and was known for her gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel P. Geadrities, who passed away on July 25, 2003 and one brother, Robert Salitis.

Daughter, Susan Clement of Rutherford, New Jersey
Granddaughter, Sara Clement of Rutherford, New Jersey
Nieces and nephews
Funeral will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018, at 11:00 am from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Duryea. A viewing will be held on Friday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
