Mrs. Marion Sanchuk, 90, of Duryea, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Exeter.

Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Helen Filipkowski Klobukowski and was a graduate of Duryea High School and the New York Dance and Educators of America, New York. Prior to her retirement, Marion owned the ABC Dance Studio, Kingston.

Marion was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish and it's Women Society, Duryea.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Sanchuk, who passed away on November 19, 2009, brothers, Julius and Stephen and sisters, Estelle Klobukowski and Edna Adams.

Brother, Chester Klobukowski and his wife, Mary Ann, of Duryea
Nieces and nephews
Great nieces and great nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea with the Rev. Paul McDonnell, officiating. Interment was in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. Viewing was private. Arrangements were by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea.
