Mrs. Margaret M. Koytek, 89, of Bear Creek Township, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at The Gardens at East Mountain, Plains Township.

Born in Dunmore, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Francis Russomano and was a graduate of Dunmore High School.

Margaret was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Koytek, who passed away on April 26, 2017, and one sister, Ann Rabel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 10:30 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea with the Rev. Michael Bryant officiating. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bear Creek. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea. Marge was the sweetest and kindest person. She and her husband Ed were a beautiful, loving couple. I always loved bringing them the Eucharist on First Friday visits. Rest In Peace Marge.
