Mrs. Margaret M. Kolakoski, 91, formerly of Duryea, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Wesley Village, Jenkins Township where she resided for the past five years.

Born in Pittston, on October 24, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Estock Kalinas. She was a graduate of Pittston High School, Class of 1942. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the area garment industry.

She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, sisters, Mary Osenkarski and Irene Haynes and brothers, John, Michael and Joseph.

Son, Ronald Kolakoski of Mehoopany
Nieces and nephews

Funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at 9:00 am from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea with the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Holy Rosary Church, 125 Stephenson Street, Duryea. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 8:00 am to 9:00 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G.
