Margaret Baker Luce Liput Nill Miletta, age 97, Highland Manor, Exeter, formerly from Hughestown, went to be with our Lord Sunday, March 2. She was born October 9,1927. She was the foster daughter of the late William and Caroline Corby Luce, Keelersburg. She attended grade school at South Eaton School, Tunkhannock and graduated from Hughestown High School in 1946.
Margaret was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Hughestown, the WELCA Woman's Association and the Ladies' Auxiliary serving as President of the organization for four years. She also attended The Living Word Baptist Church in Sweet Valley and was a member of the Sweet Valley Ladies' Auxiliary as well as the Moosic Senior Citizens Group for many years. She was a Girl Scout Leader for her daughters’ troops for several years. She was employed by Edelstein's Fabric, Pittston, and then RCA, Mountaintop, as an assembly tester until she retired in 1988.

She was preceded in death by former husbands, George Liput, Coxton, Marvin Nill, Hughestown, and Albert Miletta, Old Forge, her beloved daughter, Marjorie Liput Moses and son-in-law Kenneth (Randy) Moses Jr., Hughestown.

Surviving is her loving daughter, Rosemary Liput Mednis and husband Andrei, Victoria, TX, stepchildren Alan Miletta and wife Pattie, Jefferson Twp, Luke Alan and partner Rosemary McAndrew, Philadelphia. She was a loving grandmother to three grandsons and three granddaughters: Mark Moses and friend, Kim Gulla Pittston, Erik Mednis, U.S. Navy and wife Holly, El Centro, California, Stefan Mednis and wife Jena, Leander, TX, Kira Mednis Hamm and husband Kevin, Victoria, TX, Kristine Mednis King and husband John, Victoria, TX, and Karisa Mednis Reyes and husband Richard, Victoria, TX, step-grandchildren Sherri Miletta Dingman and husband Robert, New York, Kim Miletta, CA, and Sarah Miletta, Jefferson Twp, and 7 great grandchildren (her 8th to be born in July), who she cherished and loved so much: Kenneth Moses, Lillian King, Jonathan Hamm, Carter King, Maisie Reyes, Liesl Mednis, and Ethan Mednis.

A private funeral service and interment will be held at the family’s convenience. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Peter's Lutherans Church, 100 Rock Street, Hughestown, PA 18640. Arrangements are by the Bernard J.
