Mrs. Katherine Addison Hall Marvel Lake, 27 of Scranton passed away Monday at Jefferson University Hospitals, Philadelphia, Pa.
Born in Berkley, Ca. She was the daughter of Emerson Marvel and Bob Gutierrez of Walnut Creek, Ca. and Addison Hall of Lafayette, Ca. She was a graduate of Las Lomas High School, Ca. She was formerly employed by TMG Health, Scranton.
She resided here for the past nine years, prior to that she resided in Ca.
She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved being with people, playing games and white water rafting.

Brother: Christopher Marvel of Houston, Texas and his partner Richard
Brother: Matthew Marvel of Walnut Creek, Ca. and his girlfriend Kelly
Nephews: Matthew Jr. and Michael
Grandmother: Betty Marvel of Dagsboro, De.
Mother in Law: Synthia Lake of Scranton
Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Brother in Laws and Sister in Laws
Her Dog: Spades

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 at Immaculate Conception Church, 801 Taylor Ave. Scranton with the Rev. Joseph Sica officiating. Funeral Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc. 204 Main Street Duryea.
