Mrs. Katharine A. Gates, 85, of Thornhurst, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Born in Moscow, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth VanBrunt Keim and was a graduate of Moscow High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Keystone Residence, Dunmore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gates, who passed away on October 14, 2008, son, Donald Thomas and daughters, Susan and Penny Thomas.

Daughter, Christine Williams of Duryea
Son, Charles Hope of Old Forge
