Ms. Karen Antal, 63, of Trumbull, Conn., formerly of Duryea, passed away June 18, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, Conn.

Born in Pittston, Karen was the beloved daughter of the late Steve and Mildred Reese Antal. She was a graduate of Northeast High School, Class of 1968. She was formerly employed by Schott Optical, Duryea.

She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea, formerly Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

Karen loved spending time with her family and was an avid sports fan, but especially loved the New York Rangers.

Brother, Stephen Antal and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Trumbull, Conn.
Nephew, Michael Antal of Trumbull, Conn.
Aunt, Lorraine Antal of Jenkins Township
Aunt, Verna Reese of Duryea

Funeral will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Duryea with the Rev. Andrew Sinnott officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Duryea. Family and friends may call Friday from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
