Mr. Joseph T. Wychoskie, 65, of Old Forge, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, at The Gardens at East Mountain, Plains Township.
Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Benedict and Lucille Murawski Wychoskie and was a graduate of Pittston Area High School. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the PA Turnpike, Wyoming Valley Interchange.
Joe was an avid sports fan, especially the New York Mets and the Las Vegas Raiders. He loved talking sports with anyone. He also enjoyed long rides with Theresa and Joey. Joe had a talent for cooking, always willing to share with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Sokolowsky Wychoskie, who passed away on November 28, 2020, brother, Benedict Wychoskie and nephew, Brian Wychoskie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 10:00 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea with the Rev. Michael Bryant officiating. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea.
