Mr. Joseph F. Kudey, 82, of Duryea, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at his home.

Born in Dupont, he was the son of the late Stanley and Anna Stupak Kudey. He was a graduate of Dupont High School. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the former Donald D. Tretheway Food Brokers, Pittston Township.

Joseph was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Maria Sabella, who passed away on March 8, 1988, and brother, Stanley Kudey.

Daughter, Donna Stefonetti of Moosic
Daughter, Mary Grace Kudey of Bradfordwoods
Daughter, Cindy Pavidus and her husband, John, of Swoyersville

Grandson, Matthew Stefonetti
Grandson, Jon Pavidus
Grandson, Ryan Pavidus

Sister, Anna Grabowski of Old Forge
Sister, Rita Jordan of Scranton
Nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at 10:00 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery, Duryea. There will be no viewing. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea. Donna. Came in this weekend to visit my mother and found out about the passing of your dad ! I am so sorry for your loss ! I understand what you’re going through !
