Mrs. JoAnn Minegar, 71, of Hughestown, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pearl Riddle Erzar and was a graduate of Old Forge High School and a local beauty school.

Jo Ann was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Hughestown. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Minegar, who passed away on January 19, 1999, grandson, Shaun Minegar-Kiser and brother, Joseph Erzar Jr.

Surviving are:
Daughter, Michelle Iorio and her husband, Michael, of Kingston
Daughter, Amanda Minegar and her companion, Harrison Kiser of Hughestown

Grandchildren:
Tyler Szumski
Katrina Shannon
Mikey Iorio
Mariah Minegar-Kiser

Great grandchild:
Karsyn Szumski

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019, at 11:00 am in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 100 Rock Street, Hughestown by Pastor David Newman. A viewing will be held on Friday morning from 10:00 am until time of services at the church. Interment will be private for family. Arrangements are by the Bernard J.
