Mrs. JoAnn M. Yakalavich, 77, of Pittston, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born in Plains, she was the daughter of the late John and Celia Condo Mrak and was a graduate of Plains High School.

She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Yakalavich, who passed away on June 4, 2021.
