Mr. James Gabello, 69, of Duryea, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017, at his home.

Born in Taylor, he was the son of the late James and Margaret Peperno Gabello. He was a graduate of Old Forge High School, Wilkes University and Lehigh University. He was formerly employed in the family business, Gabello's Cafe, Duryea. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Sanofi Pharmaceutical, Poconos.

He had an amateur hand radio license.

Jimmy was a friend for over 30 years and we visited him, at his station, many times. He has been missed on the ham bands and especially the local repeaters. His interest in sports was legendary. Goodby friend, rest in peace.
