Mrs. Helen T. (Vida) Marzec, 87, formerly of Dupont, passed away Sunday at the Hampton House, Hanover Township.

Born in Dupont. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Cassie Lokuta Vida. She was a graduate of Dupont High School. She served in the United States Army as a medical technician during World War II. After returning home from the war, she was employed for many years in the local garment industry. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Frank Marzec, daughter, Deborah Grabosky, son in law, Lynn Paul Grabosky, brothers and sisters.

Surviving are:
Daughter: Barbara McLaughlin and her husband, Michael, of Moscow
Daughter: Bernadette Wynn of Hanover Township
Son: Francis Marzec and his wife, Debbie, of Lake Ariel
Grandchildren
Great Grandchildren
Sister: Dorothy Kuznierz of Ca.
Nieces and Nephews

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont with the Rev. Joseph Verespy officiating. Interment will be held in the Parish Cemetery, Dupont. Calling hours will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Sorry to hear about your mom, I'm in North Carolina otherwise I pay my repects in person. She is in a better place where there is no pain now. Again sorry it had to happen around the holiday.
