Mrs. Helen (Penny) Koytek, 93, of Dupont, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Dupont, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna Pluta Wolak. She was a graduate of Dupont High School.

She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont.

Helen was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma and sister. She was a big fan of old classic movies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred T. Koytek, who passed away on February 27, 2011, son, Alfred Koytek and several brothers and sisters.

Daughter, Janeen McCue and her husband, Jim, of Lexington Park, Maryland
Daughter, Kimberly DeMarco and her husband, Chuck, of Hopatcong, New Jersey
Daughter in law: Mary Lou Koytek of New York, New York

Grandson, Andrew Rossignol and his wife, Krystal
Granddaughter, Dana DeMarco
Granddaughter, Noelle Hegarty and her husband, Michael
Grandson, Travis DeMarco
Granddaughter, Alison Koytek
Granddaughter, Nicole Koytek
Great granddaughters, Aubrey and Kaitlyn Rossignol

Brother, Edward Wolak of Connecticut

Funeral will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 10:30 am from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 215 Lackawanna Ave., Dupont with the Rev Thomas J. Petro officiating. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery, Dupont. A viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the funeral home.
