Ms. Helen Anderika, 93, of Duryea, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Golden Living East Mountain, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Theresa Lepa Anderika. She was a graduate of Duryea High School, Class of 1939. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the Area Garment Industry.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Pittston prior to its closing. She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea and the Women's Society. Helen was also a member of the ILGWU.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, George and Joseph and sisters, Anna Mazzaccaro and Mary McNulty.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at 10:00 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea with the Rev. Andrew Sinnott officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Duryea. A viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the church. Arrangements are by the Bernard J.
