Mrs. Helen A. Stankoski, 87, of Old Forge, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Mary Koleski Kotarski. Helen was a graduate of Kingston High School.

She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

Helen was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent F. Stankoski, who passed away on July 22, 1999, brothers, Joseph, Peter, Felix, Stanley, John and Ted.

Son, Vincent Stankoski of Allentown
Daughter, Karen Black and her husband, John, of Uniontown, Ohio
Daughter, Marion Stankoski of Moosic
Daughter, Dianne Wilson of Hellertown
Son, Robert Stankoski of Old Forge
Daughter, Susan Burks and her husband, Clint, of Paoli

Funeral will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at 11:00 am from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Duryea. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Helen's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
