Mrs. Grace L. Hazenski, 85, of Pittston, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015, in the VNA Hospice Unit of Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Margaret Terrano Emma. She was a graduate of Pittston High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the area garment industry.

She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Hazenski, who passed away on June 29, 1989, brothers,Carmen, Joseph and Sam and sister, Angie Jasinski.

Surviving are:
Daughter, Mary Grace Kabacinski of Pittston
Daughter, Sister Susan Marie Hazenski SSCM of San Antonio, Texas
Grandson, Adam Kabacinski and his wife, Taylor of Visalia, California

Sister, Gertrude Belotti of Old Forge
Brother, John Emma of Doylestown, PA
Nieces and nephews

Funeral will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at 9:00 am from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea with the Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Exeter. Friends may callon Monday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial donations be made to, Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius, 580 Railroad Street, Danville, PA 17821.
