Gladys Marie Gross

Mrs. Gladys Marie Gross, 94, of Little River, South Carolina passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at her home.

Born in Cherry, she was the daughter of the late Franklin W. and Reba Dewald Vogel and was a graduate of Duryea High School.

Gladys was a former member of the Independent Bible Church, Duryea.

She enjoyed reading, gardening and arts and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billie J. Gross, who passed away on May 3, 2011, son in law, Bruce Jackson, who passed away on August 22, 2013, brothers, Donald, Arnold and Paul Vogel and sisters, Arlene Moss and Dorothy Maros.

Surviving are:
Son, William Joseph Gross and his wife, Susan, of Frederick, Maryland
Daughter, Barbara Jackson of Little River, South Carolina
Grandson, Billy Gross and his wife, Katie, of New Market, Maryland
Grandson, Wesley Gross and his wife, Brittany, of Frederick, Maryland
Great grandsons, Brayden and Cameron
Nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Independent Bible Church, 328 Main Street, Duryea with Dr. Albert Cremard officiating. Interment will be in Marcy Cemetery, Duryea. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Independent Bible Church. Arrangements are by the Bernard J.
