Mr. Frank (Francesco) Costantino, 83, of Duryea, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Calabria, Italy, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Teresa Pugliese Costantino. Prior to his retirement, Frank was the owner and custom furniture maker at Frank's Mfg., Pittston.
Frank was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea. He was an honorary member of the Pittston Knights of Columbus Council 372, Pittston Township Lions Club, Vice President of the Italian American Club and was a 32nd degree mason and shriner. Frank lived life enjoying everyday to the fullest and always up for a dance. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was so proud of his grandchildren. Frank just celebrated his 61st Anniversary of being in America on April 9th.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Saverio, Giovianni and Josephina.
He and his wife, the former Emilene Sicilio, would have celebrated their 59th Wedding Anniversary this coming June.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021, at 10:00 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea with the Rev. John Polednak officiating. Entombment will be Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church the morning of the funeral. I am deeply sorry for the passing of my wonderful friend and my first cousin Frank. During our frequent conversation we shared many memories of our childhood in the little town in Italy where we were both born. I will miss Frank's laughter, strength and generosity.
