Mr. Francis J. Klinko, 85, of Wilkes-Barre, passed into eternal life on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.

Born on July 5, 1937, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Mary C. (Gotcha) Klinko, formerly of Plymouth. Francis was a graduate of Plymouth High School, Class of 1955 and he served in the United States Air Force from 1955-1959. Francis graduated from King’s College, Class of 1966, with a BS in Accounting.

He was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Plymouth.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Klinko Callacki, formerly of Wilkes-Barre.

Sister, Catherine Klinko Sudo of Wilkes-Barre
His former spouse, Ann Marie Jaskiewicz Klinko
Son, Joseph Klinko and his wife, Kate
Daughter, Caroline Capehart and her husband, Richard
Daughter, Christine Moreno and her husband, Alexis
Eight grandchildren

Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 11:00 am in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre with the Rev. Paul McDonnell officiating. There will be no viewing. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea.
