Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Vilchock, of Old Forge, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013, in Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.

Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Elizabeth Tykosh Krappa. She was a graduate of Duryea High School. She was formerly employed in the area garment industry and retired from the former Rohr, Old Forge.

She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

She was a loving mother, grandma and great grandma. She faithfully prayed the rosary and enjoyed reading.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Michael R. Vilchock, who passed away on March 7, 2012.

Grandson, Jeff Weller
Grandson, Kevin Weller and his wife, Julie

Granddaughter, Melissa Weller and her fiance, Scott Siegfried
Grandson, Patrick Weller
Three great grandchildren

Funeral will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea with the Rev. Andrew Sinnott officiating. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. Friends may call Monday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
