Mrs. Elizabeth (Betty) Burke, 92, formerly of Duryea, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, at Highland Manor, Exeter.

Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Antal Repasky Kolvek. She was a graduate of Duryea High School.

Betty was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Slatky, her second husband, James Burke and eleven brothers and sisters.

Nieces and nephews
Great nieces and nephews

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at 9:30 am from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea, with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Holy Rosary Church, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Duryea. A viewing will be held on Tuesday morning from 9:00 am to 9:30 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 127 Stephenson Street, Duryea.
