Mr. Edward Paul Romanoski, 89, of Duryea, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.

Born in Duryea, he was the son of the late Adam John and Bertha Frances Podmenik Romanoski. He was a graduate of Duryea High School. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Anemostat, Taylor.

He was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

He was a loving dad and popa who enjoyed spending time surrounded by his family. He was a hard worker who was always willing to help anyone who needed it. In his younger years, he was an avid bowler.

He was devoted to his wife, Alice, for 62 years prior to her passing away on April 25, 2012.

In addition to his wife, Edward was preceded in death by his son, Edward J. Romanoski, who passed away on September 27, 2012 and sister, Eleanor Andruzis.

Surviving are:
Daughter, Alice Towle and her husband, Tom, of Sinking Spring
Daughter, Beverly Owens and her fiance, Jerry Kane, of Mechanicsburg

Grandchildren:
Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Tommy, Catherine and Alice Mary

Great grandchildren:
Evan, Emma, Eden, Emily, Landon, Logan, Anna, Jude and Jack Edward

Sister, Carol Franko and her husband, Pete, of Tunkhannock
Nieces and nephews

Funeral will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 10:30 am from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Duryea.
