Mr. Edward M. McArdle, 78, of Duryea, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at his home.

Born in Duryea, he was the son of the late John and Mary Petrisin McArdle. He was a graduate of Duryea High School. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the former Trane Company, Dunmore.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his daughter, Lynn McArdle, who passed away on October 13, 1996, brother, John McArdle and sister, Joan Baldovsky.

He was a loving husband, dad, and grandpa who enjoyed spending time with his family.

He and his wife the former Susan Davis would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on August 7, 2014.

Grandsons, Ryan and Kyle
Nieces and nephews

Viewing, funeral services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
