Mrs. Edith Altemose, 95, formerly of Exeter, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Camptown, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Cory May.
Edith loved spending time with her family and treasured the memories they made together. She was an animal lover and contributed to many organizations, including Boys Town and St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, son Charles, grandson, Randy Lambert, granddaughter, Michelle Altemose and great granddaughter, Erica Altemose.

Son, Gary Altemose and his wife, Susan, of Exeter
Daughter, Yvonne Lambert of Pittston
Daughter, Maureen Meginnis of Baltimore, MD
Daughter, Lisa Earlley and her husband, Chris, of Pittston Township
