Doreen J. Sapolis, 64, of Chesterbrook, PA passed away Friday, December 30th, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She accepted a diagnosis of incurable brain cancer in June 2021 with grace, bravery and dignity beyond measure. She chose to live every day as she always had loving life and making memories. She loved shopping and decorating especially at Christmas. She loved trips to the beach and the Poconos with sisters and best friends. She loved making plans and having something to look forward to. She loved dancing and wine time, red cars, music and Elvis. She loved her Mortgage families from Meridian, Vision, and GMH. She loved her family, and above all her two sons who were the light of her life. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out. There will be many of us who can’t imagine life without her.

Her sister, Doris is broken hearted over the loss of her beautiful twin and will miss her every day. God truly gathers in the good for certainly Doreen is in heaven giving Dad a hug for all of us and dancing to the music of Elvis.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Sapolis and her brother-in-law, Harry J. Berger Jr.

She is survived by her two loving sons, Jonathan D’Ottavio and Eric Muchorski. Her mother, Mary Ann (Resavy) Sapolis Her sisters: Maureen Berger, Doris Pucilowski and her husband, James, Marian Serafin and her husband Richard and her brother, Louis Sapolis and his wife Rebecca. Her nieces and nephews, Michael Newman and Matthew Newman, (who were also her Godsons), Jordyn, Alexis and Evan. She is also, survived by Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends were invited to St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 50 W. Walker Rd., Wayne, PA 19087 on Thursday, January 5, 2023 for a visitation from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment services were private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Issac Jogues Church in Doreen's memory.
