Mr. David R. Bright, 63, of Glen Burnie, Maryland passed away on March 7, 2013 at his home.

He was born Oakland, California. He served in the United States Coast Guard during Vietnam. He earned his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Loyola
College and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from University of Maryland College Park. Prior to his retirement in December of 2012, he worked at Baker & Hostetler.

David faithfully donated blood to the American Red Cross. He enjoyed tinkering with all things electronic and mechanical, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife the former Linda Lea Overman who passed away on November 25, 2008.

Son: Joshua Bright and his wife, Kathleen
Son: Ethan Bright and his wife, Deborah
Daughter: Sarah Armstrong and her husband, Erwin III
Son: Paul Bright
Step Daughter: Donna Stoltz
Step Daughter: Christa Horan

Grandchildren: Grayson Stoltz, Erwin Armstrong IV, and Alton Armstrong
Brother: Thomas Bright

A viewing will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Avenue SW (at Crain Highway) Glen Burnie, Maryland 21061 on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to American Red Cross, 4800 Mt. Hope Drive, Baltimore, MD 21215 or at www.redcross.org.

Services for David will be held in Pennsylvania on Monday, March 18, 2013 in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea at 1:00 P.M. Local arrangements are by the Bernard J.
