Ms. Crystal Barborek, 39, of Taylor, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of John Barborek of Clark Summit and Deborah Barborek of Old Forge. She was a graduate of Old Forge High School and attended Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, where she studied forensic biology and Allied Medical Assistance School, Scranton, where she studied medical assistance.

Also surviving are:
Fiancee of her father, Karina Singer of Clark Summit
Brother, John Barborek of Pittston
Sister, Jennifer Barborek of Boston, MA
Nephews, Hunter and Silas Barborek
Aunts, uncles and cousins

A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea. Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
