Mrs. Clara Zajulka, 102, of Duryea, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at Wesley Village, Pittston.
Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Pietronela Bochowski Zareski. She was educated in Duryea Schools. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the area garment industry.
She was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, William Zajulka, son, Thomas Zajulka, daughter, Mary Ann Zajulka, brothers, John (Jake) and Edward Zareski, and sisters, Tessie Zajulka and Stella Zareski.

nieces and nephews

Funeral will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 9:30 A.M. in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea with the Rev. Andrew Sinnott officiating. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. Arrangements are by the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea. Clara was a lovely woman who looked forward to attending Mass and the rosary each week. She was a very gentle and kind woman. We will miss her.

Dear Aunt Clara, Janice and I and the rest of our family will miss you very much. You were such a joy to us and we enjoyed the yearly visits and wished we could have visited more often.
