Mr. Chester J. Draus, of Duryea, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015, at the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania.

Born in Old Forge, he was the son of the late Charles and Antoinette Draus. He was a graduate of Old Forge High School. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the former Midway Tool, Laflin.

He was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.

He was proceeded in death by brothers, Stanley and Walter and sisters, Helen, Patricia and Genevieve.

He and his loving wife, the former Eleanor Golenski, would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 24th.

Daughter, Marie Rosperich of West Virginia
Daughter, Kathy Brooks of Oregon
Grandson, Richard Sitter
Granddaughter, Karen Sitter
Grandson, John Brooks

Brother, Frank Draus of Philadelphia
Nieces, nephews and cousins

Funeral will be held Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at 10:00 am from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea with the Rev. Andrew Sinnott officiating. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
