Mrs. Catherine T. Kashuba, 71, of Pittston passed away Tuesday at the Regional Hospital,Scranton.
Born in Duryea. She was the daughter of the late William and Edna Abent Kroptavich.
She was a graduate of Duryea High School. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a head custodian in
the Pittston Area School District.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Eucharist Parish, Pittston.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Richard who passed away May 3, 2010
Surviving are two sons:
James and his wife Jodi both of Pittston
Richard and his wife Paula of West Pittston
Grandchildren Rachel, Kaylyn, and Richard III.
Sisters: Marion Kroptavich and Mrs. Robert Eleanor Romanczuk both of Duryea.
Brothers: William III and James Kroptavich both of Duryea.
Robert and his wife Sharon Kroptavich of Ransom
Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 A.M. from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc. 204 Main Street
Duryea, with Mass of the Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of the Eucharist Church, Pittston. Interment
in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Pittston. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday Evening.
