Mrs. Catherine Cremard, 100, of Duryea, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015, in Highland Manor, Exeter.
Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Agnes Vaiceliute Kalinauskas Kalson. She was educated in Old Forge Schools. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the area silk mills and the area garment industry.
Catherine was a member of the former St. Joseph's Church, Duryea since 1915. She was the oldest parishioner when the church closed its door in 2010. She is a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea.
She was a loving mom, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a former member of the Pittston Senior Citizens Center, the War Mothers and the Lithuanian Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Cremard, who passed away on May 20, 1964, her grandson, Louis Robert Cremard, who passed away on September 28, 2014 and several brothers and sisters.

Daughter, Katherine McDermott and her husband, Bob, of Duryea
Daughter, Ann Marie Estock and her husband, Chuck, of Wilkes-Barre Township
Granddaughter, Mary Ann Stanton and her husband, David, of Duryea
Granddaughter in law, Denise Cremard of West Wyoming
Grandson, Bob McDermott and his wife, Kim, of Old Forge
Granddaughter, Ann Marie Kondrad and her husband, David, of York
Great grandchildren, Marissa, Madison, Gianna and Kaitlyn Rose

Funeral will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea with the Rev. Andrew Sinnott officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Duryea. Friends may call Monday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea.
