Mr. Casimir E. Mateyka, of Duryea, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Topps Chewing Gum and Tobyhanna Army Depot.

He was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea. He was a lifetime member of the DAV.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea with the Rev. Michael Bryant officiant. Arrangements were by the Bernard J.
