Mr. Brian Newman, of Pittston, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Brian was born in 1942, in Guiseley, England to James Sydney and Winifred Whitman Newman. He went to the local schools and as a youth, he was in the Boys Brogade and the Boy Scouts at local churches. When he first left school, he went to work in the local butchers shop and then a Tannery, both of which were in Ravensthorpe, he then went on to do various jobs.

Brian enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and playing darts.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Hall Newman, who loved him more than words can express.

Son, Ian Newman and his partner, Donna, of England
Son, Russell and his wife, Gail, of England
Grandchildren, Megan and Lewis

Kelly Boyko of Pittston
Colleen Kovaleski and her husband, Rick, of Douglas, GA
Amy Calabro of Pittston
Step granddaughter, Madyson Calabro, along with other step grandchildren
