Mrs. Beverly "Sylvia" J. Drucis, 88 of Duryea and Ocala, Florida passed away Friday, August 28, 2015, in Manorcare at Elk Grove Village, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late John Clarence and Lena Miller Moss. She was a graduate of Duryea High School. She was formerly employed as a nurse by Lower Bucks Hospital, Bucks County.

She was a very active member of the Independent Bible Church, Duryea.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, puzzles, cross word puzzles and reading.

She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Robert Vanderburg, who passed away on December 13, 1985, her second husband, Robert Drucis, who passed away on November 19, 2001, brothers, Wilson, John, Myrlnn, Floyd, Henry and George and sister, Lydia Prusch.

Surviving are:
Daughter, Beverly Jackson and her husband, Thomas, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee
Daughter, Roberta Mariano and her husband, John, of Huntley, Illinois
Son, Scott Vanderburg and his wife, Liz, of Lansdale
Seven Grandchildren
Nine great grandchildren
Nieces and nephews

Funeral will be held Saturday, September 5, 2015, at 10:00 am at the Independent Bible Church, 328 Main Street, Duryea with the Rev. Al Cremard and Rev. Joseph LaCava officiating. Interment will be in Marcy Cemetery, Duryea. Friends may call Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc., 204 Main Street, Duryea. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church the morning of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Independent Bible Church, 328 Main Street, Duryea, PA 18642.
